Almost all of Dolce & Gabbana products are housed in shiny gold cases which scream 'CLASS'. The only peeve is it being a finger print magnet but can be easily removed with a wipe of cloth or tissue paper. Luminous Cheek Colour comes with a velvet pouch and the case has a mirror and small soft brush for touching up on the go.
Rosebud is a matte warm pinkish coral shade which look very feminine in the pan.
It is not difficult to swatch Rosebud with the smooth texture but it's more challenging to capture it on my camera as the shade is pretty natural and glowy without the intensity.
It shows up as a subtle natural glow on my NC30 skin and colour intensity can be build up. I believe Rosebud shade to be dupeable but the texture is just different and feels smoother.
Dolce & Gabbana Luminous Cheek Colour is currently retailing at USD45.00 on Saks.
oohhhh looks divine, and this is a very pretty color. How does the texture compare to Tom Ford's blush?
ReplyDeleteJoy, I feel D&G is slightly smoother but both are close. Tom ford shades are shimmery whereas d&G are mainly matte.
DeleteGah, PINK CORAL??? Love! Need!!! I haven't seen and D&G makeup. The brand is not available in Belgium or Taiwan. I should definitely investigate though!
ReplyDeleteSunny, I think it will look great on you. You can get it from Saksfifthavenue.com. :)
DeleteHehe woman, I couldn't wait for your swatches, I got a Rosebud of my own and I can't wait to use it. Can't wait till sunny Saturday to arrive so I can photograph it.
ReplyDeleteHehe, the shade is pretty but I feel dupeable.
